A 12‑month fixed‑term locum Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (St George’s Hospital, Tooting) offering a full‑time consultant role with a 10 PA commitment split 6 PAs at St George’s and 4 PAs at CUH. The post demands a strong interest and substantial experience in Head & Neck Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery, managing benign and malignant pathology, regional referrals and reconstructive caseloads within a mature multidisciplinary team alongside ENT, plastics, clinical oncology, neurosurgery, orthodontics and restorative dentistry. You’ll contribute to clinical governance and audit, take part in research, deliver and promote teaching for trainees and allied staff, provide flexible clinical cover and undertake on‑call at a 1:8 frequency (1.07 PA with a 5% supplement). Salary is on the Hospital Medical & Dental staff scale £109,725–£145,478 pa pro rata.

We’re looking for a clinician on (or within six months of) the GMC Specialist Register in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with full GMC and GDC registration, Intercollegiate Fellowship or equivalent, SAC‑approved training (or imminent completion), up‑to‑date ATLS and demonstrable leadership, teaching and acute‑care skills.
