Consultant Geriatrician - St Mary’s Hospital, Newport (Isle of Wight). This permanent, full‑time Consultant post offers a clinical mix of comprehensive inpatient geriatrics, weekly outpatient clinic (with scope to develop a rapid access model) and a 1:11 weekday General Internal Medicine on‑call (advice/call‑in 22:00–08:00). You will lead diagnosis and treatment for older patients, provide professional supervision to junior medical staff and contribute to teaching, audit and service development. The role requires MBBS (or equivalent), relevant Royal College membership, GMC registration with entry on the Specialist Register (CCT, CESR or EC rights), and completion of recognised GIM training. Salary banding is £109,725–£145,478 per annum and skilled worker sponsorship is considered where needed.
