Provide compassionate, person-centred care as a Bank Healthcare Assistant in the In‑Patient Unit at St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester (WR5). This bank role offers 11.5‑hour shifts (08:00–20:15 and 20:00–08:15) on an 'as and when required' basis, paid at £12.90 per hour plus enhancements. You will work alongside registered nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic palliative and end‑of‑life care — assisting with clinical tasks, maintaining accurate nursing records, promoting dignity and privacy, and communicating sensitively with patients and those important to them. The post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

This vacancy will suit caring people who need flexibility to fit work around family or other commitments; previous experience or a Care Certificate/NVQ level 2 is desirable but not essential.
