Lived Experience Support Worker (Ref:0086ZD) – Stoke-on-Trent, ST1. Use your own recovery journey to offer practical, non-judgemental support to people using drugs or alcohol through outreach, harm reduction, structured interventions and group activities. You will build trusting relationships while keeping professional boundaries, contribute ideas to improve local recovery communities and work towards managing your own caseload as you complete essential training (aiming for a Level 2 or 3 qualification). This is a full-time, fixed-term post until 31 March 2026, salary £24,570 per annum, with some Saturday and late-evening shifts on a rota; a DBS check is required and relevant paid or voluntary experience in health and social care plus lived experience of recovery are essential.
