Foundry Healthcare Lewes is seeking a Clinical Coder / Administrator to work full-time at its School Hill site in Lewes (BN7). This fixed‑term role (12 months) pays £23,887 a year and centres on using SystmOne Workflow Optimisation to manage patient documentation: receiving mail and electronic correspondence, scanning and importing documents, accurately coding clinical information, triaging records and forwarding to clinical teams. You’ll safeguard data and uphold confidentiality, work closely with doctors, nurses, HCAs, the prescriptions and admin teams, and adapt to changing workloads with a resilient, team‑minded approach. A DBS check is required and the role includes routine infection‑control and health & safety responsibilities.
This vacancy will suit organised, caring people — particularly women and those with experience in caring roles — who want meaningful, hands‑on work that supports patients and carers in the local community. Strong IT skills, good written and verbal communication, attention to detail and a flexible, proactive attitude are essential; familiarity with SystmOne and medical terminology is desirable and training is provided, including online and face‑to‑face development and annual reviews. Foundry serves around 29,000 patients across Lewes and Ringmer, offering a supportive, collaborative admin team where your accuracy directly improves care.
