Avery Healthcare Group Ltd., Reading Road (GU14), is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Care Assistant to provide hands‑on personal care in one of the company’s luxury elderly homes. This permanent, full‑time role pays £12.30 per hour and follows an 8am–8pm rota across three shifts over seven days, including every other weekend. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include supporting residents with personal hygiene while promoting independence and dignity, recognising and escalating clinical risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls or signs of infection, and practising safe systems of work to ensure continuity of care. No prior experience is required — Avery offers a thorough induction and ongoing training programme — so strong communication, flexibility and a respectful manner are the key things you’ll bring.
