Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will support the clinical team in delivering a wide range of healthcare services, including:Performing venepuncture and collecting blood samplesRecording and monitoring patients vital signs and observationsConducting ECGs and supporting chronic disease management clinicsSupporting clinicians with minor procedures and patient careCarrying out NHS health checks and providing health promotion adviceMaintaining accurate and timely clinical recordsEnsuring infection prevention and control standards are metWorking flexibly across both Long Sutton and Sutton Bridge surgery sites
Experience
in a GP or primary care setting is desirable. Knowledge of EMIS Web would be an advantage, though full training will be provided.
About us
We are a dispensing practice with a patient list size of over 16,000, operating across two sites in L S and S B. Our team includes 9 GPs, 8 nurses, 5 HCAs, and a dedicated administrative, reception, and dispensing team.
