Make a real difference caring for children and young people with diabetes as a Paediatric Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialist at King’s College Hospital, based in Orpington (BR6 8ND). This Band 7, permanent, full-time role (salary £53,751–£60,651) blends hospital and community practice: you’ll manage a clinical caseload, run nurse‑led clinics, admit and discharge within Trust protocols, initiate continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump therapy, order investigations and co‑ordinate seamless care with the MDT. The post demands NMC Part 1 (Children) registration and a degree or master’s in diabetes, and offers visible expert practice supporting patients, families and colleagues from diagnosis onwards.
