Step into a steady, part‑time Medical Secretary role at Broomfield Park Medical Centre in Spon End, Coventry (CV1 3HQ). This permanent Band 4 post offers 18 hours a week across Monday, Wednesday and Thursday — a predictable pattern that suits caring responsibilities and family life. You’ll be based with a small, supportive secretarial team in a first‑floor office and will work across both practice sites, including the University of Warwick Health Centre. Salary is Agenda for Change Band 4 pro rata (£27,485–£30,162 full time equivalent). Previous applicants do not reapply. Closing date: 12 October 2025.
The role is hands‑on and varied: audio/copy typing, accurate letter and report production, e‑referrals and appointment bookings, minute‑taking for meetings, and routine clerical duties using EMIS Web, Docman, AccuRx, GP Gateway and Excel. You’ll liaise with patients and secondary care, support GPs and the Practice Manager, and provide cover across the team when needed.
