Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic, patient focused, hard working individual who can join our Radiology team as a Radiology Department Assistant (RDA).With a view to expanding our service to seven days, with flexibility to work 8-6 or 8-8 cross site to increase capacity and offer greater access for the patients we serve. Radiology are looking for full or part-time staff. Flexible hours are expected as well as working weekends as part of a rota.PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE WILL NOT BE SPONSORED. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK independently, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Main duties of the job
The candidate must be flexible, dynamic, patient focused and able to work as part of a team. interprofessional communication skills is essential working alongside Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers and other healthcare workers.This post is a cross site position at both Darent Valley Hospital and Queen Marys Sidcup Hospital, and also the Community Diagnostic Centre, based in Dartford. Both hospitals are part of Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust which is a progressive and forward thinking Trust serving a growing local population of 340,000.We have an extensive range of modalities including DR, CT, MRI, ultrasound, breast imaging, nuclear medicine, bone densitometry, interventional and cardiac angiography and all aspects of general and fluoroscopic radiography.For more information contact Luke Florio, Deputy X-Ray Superintendent on .Working days and or shift patterns will be agreed by the line manager to meet the needs of a 7 day 8-8 service.
