Job description
You will report a broad and varied cellular pathology workload—dermatology, gynaecology and non‑gynae cytology, head and neck, lung, breast and gastrointestinal specimens including bowel screening—working closely with clinical colleagues, participating in MDTs and contributing to teaching, audit and quality improvement. The post includes optional coronial autopsy work, scope to develop a specialist interest, an expanding immunohistochemistry service and close links to molecular pathology and the All Wales Genomics service. Applicants should hold FRCPath (or equivalent) and be on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of CCT/CESR(CP) at interview; applications from those requiring skilled worker sponsorship are welcome and DBS checks will be required.
