Support new families at Wexham Park Hospital in Slough as a Ward Clerk for Maternity with Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. This Band 2, 12‑month fixed‑term role (full‑time or part‑time options) pays £25,768 pa incl HCAS and places you at the heart of the intrapartum ward as the first point of contact. You’ll welcome mothers, families and visitors, manage telephone enquiries, maintain sign‑in/out and ward security, and provide vital administrative support to midwives, doctors and maternity support workers. The day‑to‑day includes patient admissions, transfers and discharges via electronic systems, data entry, ordering stock, reporting faulty equipment and general reception duties in a busy, caring environment.

This opportunity is ideal for organised, empathetic carers—particularly women seeking a people‑centred administrative role—who have GCSEs or NVQ Level 2 in Maths & English and customer service and computer experience (hospital or receptionist experience desirable).
