Support adults with common mental health difficulties as a Mental Health Practitioner within the Primary Care Team for West Staffordshire, based in Cannock (WS12 3TG) for Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This permanent Band 6 role (£38,682–£46,580 pa pro rata) is for professionally registered clinicians — RMN, occupational therapist, social worker or equivalent — who can travel independently across a broad local area. You will carry out mental health assessments in Primary Care Network settings, deliver brief, low‑intensity psychological interventions, develop and review care and risk plans, and provide advice to GPs and primary care colleagues to ensure rapid, joined‑up responses for people in the community.
This post offers a chance to shape a developing service: significant investment is being made in voluntary and non‑statutory partners to strengthen local support, and the role is ideal for clinicians who want hands‑on clinical work plus service development. The Trust promotes career development and ongoing training, values inclusivity and recovery‑focused practice, and will consider skilled worker sponsorship where needed; a DBS check and current UK professional registration are required. To apply, please click the Apply Now button alongside this advert — you can also find this vacancy on jobsincare.com. Closing date: 20 October 2025.
