Support patients to get home sooner as a Physiotherapy Assistant working within the Integrated Discharge Team at Eastbourne District General Hospital (BN21). In this part‑time, permanent Band 3 post (pro rata £24,937–£26,598) you’ll work alongside physiotherapists and an Advanced Practitioner to deliver assessment, rehabilitation and maintenance exercise programmes across frailty, general medicine and palliative care. Duties include carrying out therapist‑planned sessions autonomously, completing data input, and helping to order equipment through the Millbrook system to ensure timely discharges across the trust.
This role is ideal for compassionate carers—particularly women balancing family and work—who hold GCSEs (or equivalent), have basic office/computer skills and enjoy hands‑on therapy support.
