Recovery Worker — Community Drug and Alcohol Service (Ref: 0081ZB) with We Are With You, based in Truro. You’ll work within the adult community team supporting people across Falmouth (with occasional duties in our Truro office) as part of an integrated service that includes outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice and residential rehabilitation. This frontline role involves managing an active caseload, key-working, care coordination and delivering recovery-focused interventions. You will help clients set goals and shape personalised treatment plans, working collaboratively with partner services to ensure people are treated with respect and dignity. Occasional Saturday working is required and the post is subject to a DBS check.

This role suits compassionate, organised people — particularly women and carers with health, social care, criminal justice or volunteering experience, or those motivated to work in the drug and alcohol sector. Essential requirements include ONC/NVQ level 3 (or willingness to achieve within 12 months), experience supporting people with substance misuse, a driving licence and access to a vehicle, good IT and communication skills, and resilience under pressure.
