Job summary
North West Ambulance Service is looking to recruit a full-time, permanent Rostering Coordinator based at Toxteth Ambulance Station within the Cheshire & Merseyside Area North Sector.

Main duties of the job
You will have responsibility for resource planning of the Central and South Liverpool Group's ambulances and rapid response vehicles, by the advanced allocation of daily shifts for operational ambulance personnel ensuring effective cover of all resources.Facilitating short notice cover for absences, which can occur with less than 24 hours' notice, using overtime and bank colleagues.The management of, and maintaining and recording of staff hours/shifts on to the global rostering system including planned shift hours, overtime, annual leave, requests for special leave, sickness absence and training.You will be required to work in partnership with the other rostering co-ordinators and Senior Paramedic team in the sector to ensure cover for all contingencies as required.To ensure effective continuation of rota cover for all groups you will support the whole sector when required.You will also produce performance and management information and provide administration and clerical support to the leadership team in the area.You will report directly to the Group Operations Manager
