Play a vital role in Colchester Hospital’s Emergency Department as a Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) with East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. This full‑time post (permanent, with some fixed‑term options available until 9 August 2026) offers pay of £24,937–£26,598 and involves working on a rota that includes days, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays — there are no set shift patterns. You will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses to meet patients’ direct and indirect care needs, maintain high standards in line with Trust policies, and work closely with the multi‑professional team in a fast‑paced ED. The role requires previous clinical experience and a Care Certificate (or equivalent); a Disclosure and Barring Service check is required.
