As a Support Time Recovery Worker with Oxford Health NHS Trust (Warneford Hospital, Oxford OX3), you will provide practical, person‑centred support to adults (18–65) experiencing severe and enduring mental illness across the city. Working with the City & North East Oxon Adult Mental Health Team and partner agencies such as Mind and Restore, you will deliver recovery‑focused interventions and emotional support in people’s homes, supported accommodation or community settings. The role involves helping service users to identify needs, contributing to assessment and individual care plans under the guidance of qualified clinicians, building trusting relationships and supporting independence. This is a permanent, full‑time post on Agenda for Change Band 3 and requires experience of mental health services (as a worker, service user or carer), strong communication and empathy, the ability to travel within the local area and an enhanced DBS check.

This role suits caring, patient, and motivated people — particularly women and those with previous caring experience who want a rewarding frontline role that uses their practical skills and emotional intelligence. Oxford Health offers structured induction and ongoing development, clear routes for progression, NHS pension and discounts, an Employee Assistance Programme, mental health first aid support, and generous annual leave (27 days plus bank holidays, rising with service). The team is multicultural and community‑focused, with opportunities to work closely with partner organisations.
