Support Worker (Female only) — Discovery, Cheddar (on-site). Permanent roles available full time, part time and weekends, supporting 13 older people who live at Cliffe View (10 in the main house and 3 in self-contained flats). You’ll support people with varying needs to be as independent as possible, join outings with family and friends and help run activities such as painting, tai chi, crazy golf and discos. The post is hands-on and rewarding: you’ll work with a friendly team who put the people they support at the heart of everything, use your initiative, creativity and empathy, and be trusted to make everyday decisions that help people reach their goals. Female applicants only, because the people we support prefer female carers; a full UK/EU driving licence is essential. Pay rate £14.44 per hour; on-site role, job reference DS04578.
