Job description
Support Worker based in Clydach, Swansea supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental ill‑health to live more independently. You will assist with daily living tasks and personal care when required, enable access to community activities and appointments, and promote choice and independence. This is a full‑time, permanent daytime role (shifts 08:00–20:30) paying £12.21 per hour; driving is essential to transport people to activities and appointments. The post is delivered by Hays Specialist Recruitment and will suit compassionate carers — particularly women seeking meaningful, stable day work that fits around family life.
No prior social care experience is necessary: you’ll receive a structured induction with a buddy, ongoing training and support to gain qualifications.
