Job summary
We are looking to appoint a support worker within our centre to provide compassionate, safe, effective and responsive support, that will assist service users to maximise theirindependence.This will involve providing support with a range of personal and practical tasks, that will achieve agreed personal goals, sothat wherever possible service users are able to exercise choice and control maintaining their wellbeing.

Main duties of the job
You will be required toFollow an individuals plan, staff will report back to their manager, giving accurate feedback and record on progress towards agreed outcomes.To promote and ensure service delivery which values and respects the dignity, diversity, rights and responsibilities of individuals.To support and participate in peoples chosen activities.Promoting citizenship and community engagement. of delivering care and support to people with a disability or older people, to enable them to live independently.Able to work flexible hours and in a range of environments.Able to lone work Willingness and ability to travel around the borough with a good knowledge of the Sandwell area.18 years old or over.Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS with adults barring check.Able to work as a team and use own initiative.Able to prioritise workload and deliver high standards of support to our customers using a person-centred approach.Will be required to undertake and complete the care certificate or equivalent.Will be required to undertake specific training to Adult Social Care that will enable individuals care and support needs to be met appropriately.
