Job description
As Team Coordinator for Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Camborne (TR14), you will support the Ofsted Registered Manager and registered nurses to coordinate a small team of healthcare support workers in a short-break residential service for children and young people. Day-to-day you will help plan monthly overnight stays, ensure continuity of care and a warm, homely environment that meets emotional, cultural, religious and physical needs, run the team’s monthly staff meeting and make sure practice meets Children’s Homes regulations and Ofsted Quality Standards. This permanent, full-time role is offered at Agenda for Change Band 4 (£27,485–£30,162) and is based locally in Cornwall — please note this vacancy is only open to current NHS staff working for Cornwall Foundation Trust, Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust or the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
This role suits experienced carers — particularly women looking for a relational, community-focused post — who hold a Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) and have experience supporting children with health needs or a learning disability, including medication administration and epilepsy care, or working in residential/short-break settings. You’ll need strong communication and safeguarding knowledge, basic IT and training skills, and willingness to undergo a DBS check (subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act Exceptions Order). Cornwall Partnership is a people-centred Trust delivering community and mental health services across the area; the post offers the chance to develop professionally while making a direct, positive difference to local families.
