Elmwood Ward is Parklands Hospital's dementia admissions ward. We offer assessment & nursing care to vulnerable adults. We are known to manage complex challenging behaviours & safely discharge. We place emphasis on providing a compassionate, collaborative, & safe environment.
We have a multi-disciplinary model with nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physios & medics. Parklands Hospital is comprised of five separate mental health wards, including two acute-admission wards, a PICU, & two Older People's Mental Health wards as well as a Community Crisis Team & Psychiatric Liaison Team.
