What we are looking for: A Certificate in Childcare – A minimum of NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or an equivalent or higher qualification specifically in Residential Childcare) is essential. Please note we cannot accept Level 3 Health and Social Care qualifications . We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient. Great communication skills, positive and energetic. Ability to remain calm in sometimes challenging situations. A positive role model, wanting to spend time to encourage and build relationships. Able to share interests with our young people. You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins with full-time and part-time hours being available.
