Senior Mental Health Administrator at Oxford Health NHS Trust, based at the Warneford Hospital (OX3). This full-time, permanent Band 4 role (Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00) provides specialist administrative support to the Adult Mental Health Team, helping clinicians deliver care for working-age adults. You will manage all aspects of doctors’ outpatient clinics — booking, rearranging and recording outcomes — answer sensitive and sometimes emergency calls with discretion and compassion, and keep clinical and activity databases up to date. The role calls for an organised, detail-focused administrator comfortable with high call volumes and frequent interruptions, strong MS Office skills, GCSE-level English and Maths (or equivalent) and secretarial training; experience with NHS systems such as Carenotes or e-RS is desirable.

This post will particularly suit organised, empathetic candidates — including women and those with caring experience — who want a stable, supportive NHS role with clear development pathways. Oxford Health offers continuing professional development, apprenticeships, annual appraisals, and benefits including 27–33 days’ annual leave (pro rata), pension, staff discounts, cycle-to-work and wellbeing support. You’ll work within a close-knit team where professionalism, patience and emotional resilience are valued, and parking is available for staff.
