Make a real difference to oral health across Oxfordshire as a Senior Health Improvement Practitioner with Oxford Health NHS Trust, based at Trust Headquarters, Littlemore Mental Health Centre, Oxford OX4 4XN. This permanent, part‑time Band 5 post (salary £31,049–£37,796 pro rata) leads countywide oral health improvement work commissioned by the county council. You will design and deliver community programmes, training, oral health surveys and an accreditation programme; develop Communities of Practice; and work with children, families, vulnerable adults and professionals in schools, community groups, health and social care settings. This is a non‑clinical health promotion role. Essential requirements include a relevant degree or professional qualification, experience of health promotion, strong communication and facilitation skills, and the ability to manage data and stock. You will need a UK driving licence and access to a car, be prepared to travel across Oxfordshire and occasionally work evenings or weekends. The role is subject to a DBS check and may involve moving health promotion materials (lifting over 15kg).
