As a GP Practice Health Care Assistant at Harwood Group Practice (Harwood and Tonge Moor, BL2), you’ll deliver hands-on clinical care across a friendly, multi-disciplinary team. This part-time, fixed-term (6 months) role involves phlebotomy, 12‑lead ECGs, blood pressure and BMI checks, urine testing, clinical coding on EMIS, stock and decontamination duties, and supporting nurses and GPs with clinics and QOF/BQC recall work. The role requires Health & Social Care NVQ Level 2 or above, phlebotomy training with at least one year’s venepuncture experience, and a DBS check; salary is pro rata £24,937–£26,598 (depending on experience).
