Based across Worcestershire Royal Hospital (Worcester WR5 1DD) and The Alexandra Hospital (Redditch B98 7UB), Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is inviting a Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapist to join an integrated therapy service. The post gives planned rotations through stroke, complex care (critical care and neuro‑rehabilitation), frailty, medicine, surgery, trauma, elective orthopaedics and rheumatology, with hands‑on work in acute assessment, equipment provision, cognitive and upper‑limb interventions, discharge planning and community visits. You’ll manage an active caseload in time‑sensitive settings, work closely within multi‑disciplinary teams, liaise with senior therapists and provide advice and support to therapy assistants and students, while having the chance to express clinical preferences and broaden your skills.

This role suits newly qualified to early career OTs with a degree/diploma, active or pending HCPC registration, recent NHS experience and strong interpersonal, manual‑handling and reflective practice skills; RCOT membership is desirable. You’ll receive structured professional development—Band 6/7 supervision, one‑to‑ones, observed practice and regular CPD—with opportunities to rotate across the wider Trust and potentially into Herefordshire services. The permanent, full‑time flexible post (Band 5, £31,049–£37,796 pa) requires travel between sites, home visits and participation in rotaed seven‑day and bank‑holiday cover as needed, and is designed to support people balancing work and caring responsibilities.
