City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP) in Hull (Hull Royal Infirmary, HU3) is looking for Urgent Care Support Staff to work in its Urgent Treatment Centres. You will be the first point of contact for patients—booking them on SystmOne, answering and directing calls, monitoring the waiting room and making comfort calls—while supporting clinicians by chaperoning GPs and practitioners, assisting with home visits across Hull and the East Riding, carrying out equipment, vehicle and medication checks, and completing a range of administrative duties. Patient presentations include undifferentiated illness, minor injuries, acute problems and exacerbations of long‑term conditions, so the role combines calm, hands‑on patient support with strong admin and organisational skills. This permanent, full‑time Band 2 (Agenda for Change) post pays £24,465 and operates on a shift rota that covers 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

This role will particularly appeal to compassionate, organised carers and women seeking meaningful, stable healthcare work within a supportive organisation. Essential requirements include Level 2 Business Administration or Customer Service (or equivalent), confident keyboard/IT skills, a full driving licence, Basic Life Support training (or a willingness to train), experience working with the public and a satisfactory DBS check. CHCP is a values‑led social enterprise of nearly 2,500 colleagues where staff voices are heard and development is supported.
